Observation Deck/ Sky Deck

At a height of over 100 meters, you will step out of a fancy elevator with disco music, light effects and a transparent roof. You have an amazing view from the roof of the building over the whole of Amsterdam. This way you can see the historic centre to the south, the harbour to the west and of course the beautiful Dutch landscape to the north.

The edge swing

Perhaps one of the most famous swing in the world is the swing that is located on the roof of the A'DAM Lookout. A fear of heights is not so convenient for this swing because it goes just over the edge of the building and you are sitting just over 100 meters above the ground. The sense of freedom is enormous in this place. For this swing you will need to purchase a separate entrance ticket on top of the entrance fee. This can also be done on the spot if you are in doubt whether you dare or not!

Inside the A'Dam lookout you can learn a lot about Amsterdam. There are several screens on which panoramic photos of the Amsterdam skyline are presented. When you click on the buildings shown on the screen you will get an explanation about this. It sound boring but is acutally quite nice!

You don't have to be short of anything in this area. A'DAM Lookout has a super cool skybar with a restaurant. Starting with a simple cup of coffee with a piece of cake to an extensive dinner with a magnificant view. This is the spot to really enjoy each other and this beautiful city.
