Many tourists in the Netherlands visit Amsterdam and want to stay there for a few days as well. In addition, they want to see more of Dutch culture and one of the most important export products is of course our flowers. FloriWorld has been open since 2020 at the Aalsmeer Flower Auction. Floriworld is a theme park /museum that focuses on flowers and plants. In a fun and interactive way, you'll learn about floriculture in the Netherlands and the process our flowers and plants experience before they're in your store.

What to do is
Light, sound but especially colours are central to the museum. There are several rooms in FloriWorld with a different theme. Upon entry, you get a strap on your wrist that lets you know who you are and where you come from. This is remembered by the system and makes the museum journey personal and fun. Enjoy beautiful photos, an imitated auction, beautiful spaces of flowers and plants, and afterwards, talk to the restaurant while enjoying a cup of coffee with something to eat or have lunch here.

Location
FloriWorld is well placed on the site of the Flower Auction in Aalsmeer. This is of course the flower center of the Netherlands and the world. A better place for a museum like this is simply not there. It is very nice to combine the museum with a visit to the Flower Auction for example (please note, this is very early in the morning!). The location is easily accessible by car and public transport from Amsterdam.

Children
The museum is ideally suited for children. From about 5 years old, there's enough for them to experience and do. Because the system is interactive and the kids get their own band, they can work themselves in many rooms. Photo booths, flower crafts, an interactive film, a swing and of course the auction where they can bid on bunch of flowers. Look at the happy faces when they're told they had the highest bid!

Restaurant and shop Restaurant Bloom is located
in the attraction. A stylish restaurant with beautiful bouquets of flowers in style with its location. At the museum, you can enjoy a cup of coffee with something delicious or go for an extensive lunch, just what you want. Downstairs is a small shop, you walk along the way to exit. There are various products in the area of flowers and plants, as well as art objects by Van Gogh from the Rijksmuseum, for example.
